High Net Worth Investor— Chop, Chop, and More Chop…

The stock markets in the United States have been extremely choppy today.  We have seen a constant fluctuation between gains and losses, but a fairly tight range in the S&P 500 has held so far from 1274 to 1281.

Investors who may have been looking at an emergency conference call of G7 leaders for some good news probably should start looking elsewhere.  The call has failed to generate any market moving headlines other than they are going to continue to monitor developments in the market until the G20 meeting in Mexico later in the month.

As we hover around the 200 Day Moving Average on the S&P 500 investors will be looking for clues to gauge the future direction of the markets.

The S&P 500 is an unmanaged index.  Investors cannot invest directly in an index.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
